Overview
Atrium came to us to give their Pure Encapsulations sites a redesign. With the challenge of 3 sites that are all intertwined, we had to overhaul their online experience and redesign their sites to accommodate each of their audiences and refine the User Experience and overall presentation.
Pain Points & Solutions
Our current site is too inconsistent with modules.
We made consistent stylings (corner radius, text size, color palettes, padding/spacing, etc, and rules surrounding each in order to create a cohesive consistent UI framework and experience.
Our current navigation is confusing and inconsistent across our sites.
We broke down what the goals of each site were and how we could serve each audience while still having a consistent experience across all sites. Most of this solution was solved with information architecture, but also reformatting the structure and styling of the menus.
Navigating the whole site, specifically categories, isn’t a very straight forward.
We highlighted categories and adjusted the UI styling and color palettes to embrace the idea of categories and their given colors. By relying on the color of each category, we were able to create enhanced navigation, and bring the brand to life.
The site isn’t very mobile friendly.
By simplifying the layout, fine tuning text styles, and revisiting the structure of each individual module, we were able to create a cohesive experience that bridged the gap from Desktop to Mobile. Now full functionality is available across the whole site no matter what device is being used.
Legal copy is very important, but it takes up so much space. What can we do to simplify that?
On top of making legal instances interactive, we created a section for legal copy to always exist on the page, but be revealed only when the user wants to view it.
People tend to avoid the quiz, despite the information being incredibly valuable.
The quiz was difficult to use. The information was convoluted, repeat info was being asked for. The whole experience felt like a lot of work. We simplified the quiz by consolidating the information, removing any “extras”, clearly defining to the user where in the quiz they are, and leaving the form till last with minimized required info.
